Abbess Time with Lotus Link Humanistic Buddhism Study Group

Wednesday Lotus Link Dharma Class ¨C 15 Jul 2009, 7.00pm to 9.00pm

Twelve participants of the Wednesday evening classes were privileged to have Venerable Abbess Manshin lead the ESC Lotus Link Dharma discussion.

She invited participants to ask her Dharma related questions.

Topics discussed were interesting and wide ranging:
How to become Wise and Compassionate
The transition of the consciousness (Karma force) from the body after death
Grief
Super natural powers
Helping friends, family and colleagues with Depression
No Self
Duality and Beyond Duality
Enlightenment
Everyone appreciated this good opportunity to deepen their understanding of their Buddhist beliefs and faith, and to seek answers and methods to overcome their obstructions and misunderstandings. This was helped by the Abbess giving simple and real-life examples to assist members understand the terms, concepts and guidance that she was providing.
She encouraged everyone to have faith and to have confidence to grow their worth in life.
The ESC is very appreciative of the Abbess¡¯s precious time and the wisdom she shares with us all.
